Cadet Chapel wedding: Morgan & Mark!

[ Air Force Academy wedding pictures ]

Did you watch the royal wedding? I did! Yes, Prince William and his bride make a beautiful couple, but I have an even more gorgeous couple to show you! Mark and Morgan's wedding at the Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel was perfection. Rain was predicted and we got sunshine, Morgan looked like a modern day Grace Kelly, and Mark was dashing in his dress blues. I love a good old fashioned saber arch, and when zombies enter the fray... well that's just icing on the proverbial wedding cake!

Wedding ceremony venue: US Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel
Officiate: Reverend Kirk Fowler
Wedding reception venue: Doolittle Hall
Bride's gown: Martina Liana, from Bustle Baton Rouge
Hair: Brandi Trapp at Genesis Salon
Makeup: Pamela Johnson at FaceBodyFX
Tuxedos: Mens Wearhouse
Wedding cake: Little London Cake Shoppe
DJ Services: Dan Hugill at Celebration Station
Floral design: Rhonda Nichols Flowers

Grace Kelly, anyone? Wow!

A gust of wind picked up Morgan's train at just the right moment.

The Cadet Chapel is a beautiful place for a wedding.

Mark and his mom, moments after the ceremony.

Love the stained glass in the Cadet Chapel -- gorgeous!

Morgan dancing with her dad.

Mark dancing with his mom.

Mark's grandmother caught the bouquet, and her reaction was PRICELESS.

The DJ played Thriller so I asked everyone to zombie dance, with hilarious results.

The rings, in front of Mark's iPhone. I took the picture of them kissing the night before, at the rehearsal, so I could set up this picture the next day.

Bid on one of my photos!

Did you know that I have a daily photo blog? It's called Colorado Springs Daily Photo, and it's where I share photos of and musings about my city. I've donated the above image from CS Daily Photo to a silent auction to help a local family adopt a 6 year-old Ethiopian child! The image will be archivally printed at 8x12" and signed by yours truly. You can bid on it and many other cool items here: http://pureeaway.blogspot.com/
