Kim & Jason

Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I worked in Corporate America. I left that job several years ago but still stay in touch with a few of my friends from those days, among them Kim. I felt very honored to be the photographer for her and Jason's big day! She looked so happy to finally be marrying her man. They tied the knot at Shove Memorial Chapel on the Colorado College campus, and there were many familiar faces there from my old job! It was neat seeing all those old friends.

This was truly a family affair. Jason's mom, Yvonne, officiated the ceremony, and his Uncle Kip served as best man. Kim's sons, Anthony and Markus, served as groomsmen and ushers while Jason's daughter Kaelyn got to be a junior bridesmaid. There was a lot of love at this wedding!

Kim and Jason, it's wonderful to see you so happy!

Wedding gown: David's Bridal
Tuxes: Tuxedo Junction
Ceremony: Shove Memorial Chapel, the Colorado College
Reception: Giuseppe's Depot

The antique stained glass window in the bride's room casts multicolored light around.

Kim's adorable niece, Mia, who always wears an impish grin

Kim and Jason decided to meet before the ceremony for pictures. This was Jason's first glimpse of her.

Kim's gown had the palest of pink sashes.

Shove Chapel is spectacular!

Here's Jennie, an old co-worker of mine. It was great to see her!

Since Kim loves princesses, the wedding had a fairy tale theme.
