Angela and Devon are getting married next May and have been engaged for about a year now. They're really taking their wedding planning seriously and are enjoying this exciting time. I think it's neat -- both of them are so into it and they're equally excited about their upcoming nuptials (a lot of times, ahem, the bride is a tiny bit more into it than the groom, but not in this case). These two spent a lot of time researching and interviewing all their vendors so I was thrilled when they chose me to be their photographer. For their engagement portraits they wanted both an urban look and some natural fall color. No problem with the urban look -- we found some cool alleyways downtown and snapped away, but by the time we were finished the weather had turned pretty nasty so our plan to drive up the pass and capture some fall color had to be postponed. No problem, we just waited a week then spent a golden afternoon among the trees at Bear Creek Park. Both shoots were so much fun because Angela and Devon have no fear of the camera! In fact, it was like working with a couple of professional models. And they're so stylish too. I can't wait to shoot their wedding, it's going to be awesome!
