Karen & Erick

I know, I'm blogging all out of order! Here's a great wedding I did on June 3rd. Karen and Erick got married at Black Forest Lutheran Church, which means the setting was beautiful. We spent some time doing portraits in the woods, and after the ceremony we snuck away to Fox Run Park nearby for some more romantic poses. The reception was a lot of fun, the food and company were great, and at the end of the night the bride and groom made their escape through a gauntlet of bubbles. So romantic!

Karen got a little verklempt while getting her makeup done.

A kiss upon seeing each other for the first time.

There's something to be said for an old fashioned formal portrait.

This kiss in the woods is pretty much my favorite image from the day.

Karen using Erick's glasses for a mirror.

One for the moms.

Karen's gown was magnificent!

The happy bride! I just love a long veil.

Guess what happened immediately after this shot was taken?

They pretty much stuck together just like this throughout the reception.

Erick dances with his mom.

One last tradition to observe before jumping in the car and speeding away!
